ForexCompare.in is a read-only forex rate comparison tool for Indian freelancers and exporters. This page explains what data is collected when you visit, who collects it, and why.

What this site does

ForexCompare.in uses manually fetched exchange rate data from public bank websites and the Reserve Bank of India — no automated crawlers or scrapers are used. No personal information is involved in that process. The site has no user accounts, no registration, no comment sections, and no contact or data-entry forms.

Data usage and ownership

Bank TT buy rates and RBI reference rates displayed on this site originate from public sources — bank websites and the Reserve Bank of India. ForexCompare.in does not claim ownership over these underlying figures.

The compilation, organization, and analysis of this data presented on ForexCompare.in — including rate comparisons, historical charts, and written findings in Insights articles — is original work. It may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission.

Data we collect directly

None. ForexCompare.in does not set any cookies, does not run a database of visitor records, and does not collect your name, email, or any other personal information.

Data collected by third-party services

Most data collection on this site is carried out by third-party infrastructure providers, not by us. Here is what each service does:

Cloudflare — All traffic to ForexCompare.in passes through Cloudflare's network, which acts as a CDN and security layer. Cloudflare logs IP addresses, device and browser information, and request metadata as part of normal network operations. Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Fonts — This site uses self-hosted fonts (DM Sans and DM Mono) served directly from forexcompare.in. No font files are loaded from Google's CDN or any third-party server.

Google Analytics 4 — This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate — for example, which pages are visited most and from which regions. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects anonymised usage data. No personally identifiable information is linked to analytics data. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool. ForexCompare.in does not set any cookies. Third-party services listed above may set their own cookies subject to their respective policies.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party beyond the infrastructure services described above, which are necessary to operate the site.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act, 2023) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have rights regarding personal data held about you. Because we do not directly collect or store personal data, most requests would need to be directed to the third-party services listed above.
